In November 2002 Canadian Home & Country magazine
hosted the inaugural Opening Night Gala featuring the ceremonial unveiling
of the fabulous Show House Feature at the 2nd annual Canadian Home
& Country Show. Four years later, Canadian Home & Country magazine
is continuing this tradition of excellence once again for the 6th
annual Opening Night Gala. This exciting event will take place on
Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the historic
Automotive Building, Exhibition Place in Toronto, Canada.
Canadian Home & Country is committed
to hosting one of the finest decor fundraising events in the Greater
Toronto Area. Over its 5-year history, the Canadian Home & Country
Show Gala has been supported by such companies as Mattamy Homes, Visa,
Nature Mix, Churchill Wines, Steam Whistle Breweries and Ontario’s
Finest Inns to mention but a few. With their support the Canadian
Home & Country Show Gala has contributed monies towards charities
that assist children in the Greater Toronto Area including Ronald
McDonald House and the Toronto Star’s Santa Clause Fund.
Year after year, our participating sponsors and donors contribute
significantly to the charitable aims and objectives of the Canadian
Home & Country Show Gala. This year will be a celebration of exquisite
cuisine, fine wines and fabulous entertainment with over 1500 guests—from
corporate sponsors to decorating and design enthusiasts who have
come to experience the “Simple Luxuries” of a country-style home first
hand and together, raise funds to support Canadian Breast Cancer Research
